In prayer

In prayer we bring our worship and our praise to the Lord, giving Him all the honour and glory with hearts full of thanksgiving.

Jesus taught us to pray

Jesus taught us to pray, “Your Kingdom Come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven” . Effective prayer is God’s Holy Spirit in us, interpreting the mind of Christ back to the Father.  We are His vessels and channels by which His Kingdom is established on earth  (1 Corinthians 2.16).

Lord Jesus, we pray for the many who do not know you, who are lost and in need

Lord Jesus, we pray for the many who do not know you, who are lost and in need.   You are the Good Shepherd of the sheep and we pray you will help us to do our part in prayer, action and giving, in bringing your lambs to you.

May your saving, delivering and healing power increase on this earth as your people spread the “good news for the poor”.  Lord Jesus, we ask you to set the captives free from oppression and bring comfort to all who mourn (Isaiah 61:1-2).

In Jesus name, we pray for people and nations

Lord Jesus , we ask you to heal the broken hearted, and set the captives free. To bring Your healing to all those in need who are suffering.

The harvest is plentiful, but the labourers are few.  Lord of the harvest we ask you to supply the needs and help us play our part in bringing the harvest in.
