GOHI Fantastic news from Singapore

Dear GOHI Friends,

We are rejoicing with the GOHI Teams in Asia! There is now a permanent home for Asian Ministries in Singapore. Here is the wonderful news as reported by Titus and Esther Soo, the leaders of GOHI Asian Ministries:

A Legacy for the Asian Ministries Family – A Permanent Home for Our Community without a bank loan!

With hearts full of thanksgiving, we are delighted to share a remarkable praise report. The Lord has provided the full S$2.3 million fundraising target for the acquisition of a permanent home for the ministry in Singapore. For more than 21 years, the Lord has faithfully led Asian Ministries – Zion Healing Centre through seven rented locations, but now we have a permanent home where healing, deliverance, restoration, training, equipping and healing through creativity can continue to serve individuals, churches and the nations of Asia for generations to come.

From the beginning, we committed to acquiring this property through 100% community funding, without a bank loan and without the burden of interest. Our fundraising journey began at the Prayer Support Group meeting on 23 April 2026, with Foundation Seeds being given to begin the journey. The Option to Purchase (OTP) was signed on 11 August 2026, with the first 5% down payment made. The Lord touched many hearts, and funds came in within a remarkably short period. We are deeply grateful to every giver, to those who fulfilled their pledges and Foundation Seeds, and to everyone who prayed, encouraged and stood with us. Every gift, large or small, has been part of this shared legacy.

A Remarkable Provision on 24 September

At the Prayer Support Group meeting on 24 September 2026, a donor asked how much was still outstanding. I shared that we had a shortfall of S$144,000 to reach our S$2.3 million target. Immediately after the meeting, he texted to say that he would provide the shortfall. The following day, he transferred S$155,000 – S$11,000 more than the amount needed to meet the target! We received this as an extraordinary encouragement and a reminder that God can move hearts in ways we could not have planned.

Within approximately 45 days of signing the OTP, the fundraising target was reached. In just five months from the beginning of our fundraising journey, the full S$2.3 million goal was met. All glory belongs to God, who makes all things possible!

More Than a Property: A Home for Healing and Equipping

This is not simply the acquisition of a property. It is an investment in a lasting home for the work entrusted to Asian Ministries – Zion Healing Centre. We envision this permanent home as a place where individuals can find healing and restoration, where churches and ministry workers can be equipped, and where the AM Family can continue to serve the Body of Christ and the nations of Asia. It will be a place of transformation, healing through creativity, and equipping for generations to come.

The Next Chapter: Preparing Our Permanent Home

Having reached our S$2.3 million fundraising target, we now look forward to the next stage of preparing this bare unit for its intended purpose. Renovation, furnishing and setting up the necessary facilities will be important steps in making this a welcoming and functional home for our community. We invite you to continue standing with us in prayer as we prepare this place for the work ahead.

Together, We Have Built a Legacy

We began with a vision and a commitment to trust the Lord for a permanent home without taking a bank loan. Today, we give all glory to God for His faithfulness and thank Him for touching so many hearts to make this vision possible. Thank you, Lord Jesus, for asking us to be yoked together with you, to learn from you, and that your yoke is easy and the burden of building a House for the Lord is light (Matthew 11:29-30). “For everything comes from you, and we have given you only what comes from your hand.” (1 Chronicles 29:14).

May this House for the Lord become a lasting testimony of His goodness – a place where lives are restored, churches are strengthened, people are equipped, and future generations are prepared for His purposes.

A Massive Encouragement, Opportunity and Challenge

What a massive encouragement this news is to the whole of the GOHI work worldwide. What an amazing opportunity for the Asian Ministries team to use this special place to build the Kingdom of God as they serve the Lord by doing his work. And what a challenge it is to us all to step forward in faith and obedience, in response to God’s vision as He goes ahead and prepares the way for the blessing of His people.

Thank you to everyone who prays for the Lord’s hand on GOHI to direct every step as together we share in the work He has called us to do across the world.

Many blessings in Christ Jesus

Peter
