GOHI in the Arab World

As our long-standing work in the Middle East was freshly established as GOHI Arab World Ministries, we said, in a very simple way, “Here we are, Lord!” When He replied, “Go!” in simple trust (and trepidation!) we went! And now we find ourselves with the joy of partnering daily with Him in His End Time purposes, as part of Gates of Hope International.

Our ministry is being worked out across the whole of North Africa and the Middle East. It’s as if God is shaking this whole region as an olive tree at harvest time. We are witnessing the Light of Christ shining brightly in stark contrast to the backdrop of darkness causing such devastation across this region. Every day we are privileged to bring real hope to the hopeless and real healing to many, many desperate and broken people.

Vital prayer and financial giving, underpins the work and facilitates us travelling to preach and minister the good news of the gospel, and watching the veil of darkness being lifted as God’s hand mercifully reaches out to touch, save, bless and heal one person after another, often through simple worship and prayer.   

Our ministry is supported by weekly Discipleship and Healing Teaching from Peter Horrobin and others from GOHI, translated into Arabic, and followed up with prayer and worship. We are thrilled that literally thousands of Arabic speakers from many different nations are then able to watch and listen on YouTube and are being influenced by these weekly teachings, bringing great encouragement, inspiration and blessing across this vast region..

It has become very clear that this is a new season for the Middle East, the Gulf area and North Africa. As we walk through the new doors God is opening, we are sensing God’s heart of love for the precious people we meet as we share Jesus with them. Wonderful stories are coming back, giving testimony to God moving powerfully:

• Changing lives as many hear the Gospel message and receive Jesus into their hearts
• Facilitating divine encounters with Jesus, who is profoundly touching and bringing supernatural healing to many
• Drawing back to Himself those who have fallen away
• Blessing and encouraging many who are working alone on the mission field

Many have been wonderfully healed and delivered, and having experienced for themselves the very real healing ministry of Jesus, are now reaching out themselves to local people with the same message.

Our vision is to continue to ministering across this huge region, strengthening and encouraging believers through evangelism, discipleship and healing.
