GOHI Newsmail – November 2024

Dear GOHI Friends,

We love Romania! What a beautiful country!! But, even more importantly, what an amazing team of Kingdom minded people God has raised up to lead Elpis, the work of GOHI in Romania.

Fiona and I were wonderfully blessed and encouraged by our week staying with the Elpis leaders, David and Michelle Moza. They have raised up and trained an outstanding, vibrant and anointed team that is making real inroads for the Kingdom of God right across Romania, with regular courses taking place across four centres in the nation, and also being watched by a significant number of Zoom attendees as well.

Fiona and I were thrilled to be sharing in the work for a few days as we taught a packed conference on the Foundations of Faith and Intercession and Healing.  The people were hungry for the teaching and received gladly.

We truly praise God for a very rich experience and for the support of Jilly Lyon Taylor from the UK. our Bulgarian leaders, Jivko and Iliana Ivanov and Jacqui and Gord Kerr from Canada.

We were also blessed to spend some important time with leaders from within the Romanian Orthodox Church and with people who are developing a ministry among the Roma people of the nation. And then we made an exciting trip to visit and pray over a piece of beautiful land which David and Michelle are praying will become the national Elpis Centre, serving the whole nation.

Finally, between us, we managed five hours of TV interviews for future screening on Romanian Christian Television channels! This Romanian visit encapsulated everything that God is doing through GOHI. He is opening up the gateways.

While there Jilly pondered on the fruitfulness of the Romanian work and reminded us of the persecution that many believers had faced there under communism. Many believers sacrificed their lives rather than renounce their faith. We visited the memorial to these martyrs and remembered what Jesus had said in John 12:24, “Unless a grain of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds.”

The world has changed radically in the past two years and I believe the Lord has established GOHI for this very season – so much need, so much to do, so little time – and yet God is able and sufficient for wherever He leads and whatever He shows us to do. He is our Guide, He is our provider, He is our light and our salvation.
