GOHI Thanksgiving Newsmail

Dear GOHI Friends,

I write with our Christmas greetings and great thanksgivings to the Lord.

Our hearts are overflowing with the many blessings God has poured out on the work of GOHI in 2025. It is hard to believe how many doors God has opened for the work. We are utterly amazed at what God has done and are spiritually a bit ‘out of breath’ keeping up with events! It’s as if a tap of blessing has become a torrent – a tsunami of God’s goodness bringing rich blessings to thousands of people across the world.

We are so very grateful to all our prayer supporters and donors who have done so much to make all this possible.

Isaiah 37:31 tells of how a remnant will “take root below and bear fruit above”. And that’s exactly how it feels – those who worked together to establish GOHI were like a remnant who took root in the soil of God’s love and then in the security of the GOHI network began to bear fruit. In Isaiah 37:30 we read God’s word to Hezekiah that in their first year they would bear fruit of themselves, then in the second year they would be blessed with what springs from that, but in the third year there would then be both sowing and the reaping of a harvest!

Well, this is GOHI’s third year and the sowing and reaping is producing precious harvests in many different parts of the world;

From the Middle East, our Arab world leaders, Sameh and Liz, report:

“We have just returned from Egypt and had a unique and special trip. In Cairo we ran a five day school for different nations, including Arabic speakers from Brazil, USA, Turkey and 10 Egyptians. As they found healing and forgiveness, their callings and destiny were awoken again in their hearts for reaching out and mission. It was such a blessed school.
There was also an Egyptian Coptic couple, now living in Australia, who have written down all the teachings, in both English and Arabic, from the video recordings of last year’s Arab World Training Course. Now they want Sameh to go and teach and minister to Arabic speakers in Australia. There is so much more to the work as it is now spreading from Egypt, to Lebanon, to Morocco and beyond. And now we have been given a flat in Cairo as a base for our work across the Middle East supported and equipped by the generous giving of business people.”

Healing Through Creativity in Malaysia

Titus and Esther Soo, leaders of our Asian Ministries team based in Singapore, have just completed a huge programme in Kuala Lumpur, training teams from across Asia in how to bring our Creator God’s healing and restoration to His people through applying the principles of Healing Through Creativity, especially with those who have been very damaged by the traumas of life. People came from the different regions of Malaysia, Hong Kong, Singapore and Sri Lanka. And there was a large contingent of young leaders from India, all of whom are people who have been rescued from very abusive backgrounds and restored by the Lord.

Fiona and I were in tears as we read the testimonies of these formerly broken people praising God for very deep healing in their lives. And when we watched the video of them dancing with joy our hearts were totally melted – you can watch the video for yourself on the GOHI Facebook page.

Explosion in Romania

The work in Romania has literally exploded across the nation under David and Michelle’s leadership. They are now conducting a 10-part modular training school, in four different areas of Romania, simultaneously. They drive hundreds of miles every week to take the precious teaching to over 350 people whose lives are being restored and who are being equipped to minister to others, right across the nation. What God is doing here under the anointing of the Holy Spirit is unstoppable.
And in November they hosted a special training event to teach and train ministry teams from Central European nations, including Poland, Bulgaria, and from across Romania, in how to bring healing to people on healing retreats.

Pressing On – as, where and when the Lord leads!

In Canada, the time came for Alexander and Marion Morrison to step down from leading an amazing work at Prairie Winds in Calgary – we are so thankful to the Lord for them. But, as in a relay race, God has called Gord and Jacqui Kerr to follow in their footsteps and take the work forward. In Poland, Basia, a long term associate of the work is pioneering a new prayer and ministry team to establish the work there.
In Italy Giovanna is building a ministry bridgehead in relationship with local church leaders in Milan and Rome. Mikhail and Olga are true pioneers having a significant impact in the Russian speaking world, as well as supporting the work in Bulgaria. In the UK Jacki and Stephen Deakin are leading Living Bridge and re-establishing a work of healing and training in the wider London area that is impacting many churches. And in Israel Steve is ministering healing to people who have been traumatised by events in the recent war. God is a wonderful healer.

So Much to Share

There is so much to share that it would take a dozen newsletters to convey the heart of all that God has been doing through GOHI. But I just wanted to give you a taste of the news that is being shared among the leaders of the ministry and at the same time encourage you to keep on supporting the work in prayer and giving. We are deeply grateful to you all.
These are critical days for the Body of Christ. The time is short and the work is urgent. As we celebrate the coming of Jesus, our eyes are also on the way ahead as we look to Him for His presence and empowering in the ongoing work of GOHI.
This comes with our love, thanksgiving and gratitude to the Lord.
